Get on the Bus

Get On The Bus is a nonprofit dedicated to providing transportation for children to correctional institutes across the state of California where the children's mothers and fathers may be incarcerated.

Get on the Bus coordinates free bus service for the children and their caregivers to prison, and provides travel bags, a photo of each child with his or her parent, and meals for the day, including a special lunch with the children's loved one at the facility. Trips are typically organized around Mother's Day and Father's Day.
