Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Program Candidates
Dear MAT Candidates,
Congratulations, you are navigating the Teacher Preparation Clinical Experience page,
as you are now an MAT candidate at GSEP at Pepperdine University. The MAT team and this site will provide you with resources
as you move through the program. High-quality clinical practice has been a signature
component of the MAT program. You will find that as you prepare for your first student
teaching experience or the final phase, this site contains what you need to make it
a successful and professional experience. Remember that you go out to the many student
teaching sites where we have ongoing partnerships with schools and districts or to
your classroom as an educator, that you are also a Pepperdine University graduate
student. We are thrilled that you are preparing for one of society's most important
jobs, a great teacher! We are here to support you through that process and beyond!
