Regalia

Graduates are responsible for renting or purchasing a cap, gown, and hood, collectively referred to as regalia, from Herff Jones the preferred vendor of Pepperdine custom regalia. All regalia orders will be shipped directly to the graduate. 

Honor Cords

Graduates who achieve an accumulative 3.5 GPA during their graduate school career are eligible to purchase a GSEP honor cord to wear during the commencement ceremony. The honor cord may be worn alone or with an achievement stole. GSEP honor cords are the same for cum laude, manga cum laude, and summa cum laude.

Honor cords are $20.00, while supplies last, and will be available for pickup on commencement day at the graduate check-in area. 

If purchased online three or more days before the commencement ceremony, an early-bird discount can be applied at check-out by using GSEP24EDU for education grads and GSEP24PSYCH for psychology grads.

College honors are not printed in the commencement program nor read individually during the commencement ceremony.

Photography

Graduates will be photographed as they receive their diplomas during the commencement ceremony and a posed photo in their regalia by GradImages. Doctoral grads will also be photographed being hooded by their chair. Please use this photography service and ask your guests to remain seated during the ceremony. In the past, GradImages has been able to deliver proofs by email within 24 hours to graduates. Announcements

Flowers

Guests can pre-order flowers to pick up at the floral booth located at the entrance to Alumni Park.

Concessions

Water bottles/dispensers will be made available for all graduates and guests. Coffee and snacks will be available for purchase at the coffee booth.
