Volunteer of the Month
The purpose of the Foster Grandparent Program is to provide children and older adults a chance to grow together through one-on-one daily attention that Foster Grandparents provide to help young people grow, gain confidence, and become more full and productive members of society.
Last program year, the Foster Grandparent Program focused on supporting and recognizing our volunteers and community partners for their steadfast service and flexibility during these unprecedented times. For the 2023-2024 program year, the theme is Willing Servant. This year we build community in celebration of 50 years of faithful service! Our theme is informed by Romans 12:10, which states: "Bedevoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves"
Each month we highlight a volunteer, recognizing his/her hard work and dedication to the Foster Grandparent Program and the children served. Their commitment to service, purpose, and leadership is demonstrated daily through this volunteerism. Thank you for your service!
