Renewal and Refreshment in the New Year

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” - Hebrews 10:24-25

As we arrive at the end of this year, we have an opportunity to consider our accomplishments, reflect upon our losses, and look forward to the coming year. While we have experienced times of joy and abundance, we have also experienced the weight of tragedy and the loss of family and dear friends. The recent Franklin fire reminds us of the fragility of life and the comfort of our heavenly Father’s protection.

These collective experiences may leave us in need of encouragement. Together, we cultivate a community of belonging as we encourage each other toward love and doing good. As we enter this holiday season, may it be a time of renewal and refreshment. As we move into the new year, may we be centered in peace and joy. May we always live out of an abundance of love for God and each other.
