A Prayer

Dear God,

We come today lifting our cups and praying that you refill us.

We are thirsty for peace.

We are thirsty for healing.

We are thirsty for safety.

We are thirsty for compassion

We are thirsty for relief

We are thirsty for YOU.

We know that you are our SOURCE and so we come humbly lifting our cups.

God, restore, refuel, revive, and refill us as only you can.

Oh God refill those who are grieving, those who are sick, those who are essential workers, those who are alone, those who are depressed, those who are anxious, those who feel forgotten.

Restore and refresh us, Almighty God, according to your steadfast love

We thank you and glorify you for the refreshing that is coming at this very hour.

Amen.
