Biography

Dr. Jordan Elaine Fink-Robinson is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. She holds a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University, Irvine, and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.

She has specialized training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Narrative Therapy for the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and related mental health conditions. She has had the privilege of serving diverse populations in a variety of settings, including outpatient community mental health, university student wellness, autism and related disorders, substance abuse, and dual diagnosis treatment centers. She is passionate about helping to shape the next generation of competent and ethical clinical counselors.

Her research interests include professional advocacy for counselors, effective practices in online higher education, and the development of culturally responsive clinical counselors and supervisors. She is the course lead for PSY 637 Techniques of Counseling & Psychotherapy and has been an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University since 2020.
