We are proud to feature Christine Kay Wong (MA in Clinical Psychology, MFT ’20), a dedicated therapist, researcher, and CEO of Momentum Mindfulness Family Counseling Inc. Her work in attachment-focused psychotherapy and trauma recovery embodies a commitment to holistic, culturally responsive mental health care.
As the CEO of Momentum Mindfulness Family Counseling Inc., Christine Kay Wong is dedicated to providing attachment-focused psychotherapy that integrates mindfulness and trauma-informed care. Specializing in Mindfulness-Based EMDR, she supports adolescents and adults facing challenges such as burnout, cultural stress, grief, and trauma.
Christine credits Pepperdine University with shaping her clinical foundation, providing not only technical expertise but also a deep understanding of cultural sensitivity, ethical practice, and the integration of spirituality into counseling. Her time at GSEP strengthened her passion for serving marginalized communities and guided her toward a career in crisis intervention and trauma recovery.
Currently pursuing a PhD at Regent University, Christine remains committed to holistic, trauma-informed care, with a particular focus on generational trauma and relationship counseling. She has contributed to research and conference presentations on trauma recovery, advocating for resilience-building and self-care strategies.
“My mission continues to be about empowering individuals to cultivate resilience and thrive despite life’s challenges,” she shares. “Through a holistic approach, I aim to help people develop effective strategies for long-term well-being.”
