Graduate School of Education and Psychology Celebrates Indigenous Peoples' Day
On October 11, 2021, the Graduate School of Education and Psychology celebrates Indigenous
Peoples’ Day to celebrate and honor the multi-faceted heritage, history, and hope
of America’s first inhabitants. Indigenous Peoples’ Day provides an opportunity to
honor the rich cultures, valuable contributions, and remarkable resilience of Native
communities. Since time immemorial, Native Americans, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians
have built vibrant and diverse cultures to safeguard their land, language, spirit,
knowledge, and tradition across generations.
