Mayor Garcetti's 2021 National Day of Prayer Virtual Event: An Interfaith Celebration

Headshot of Dr. Thema Bryant-DavisThursday, May 6th will be Mayor Garcetti’s Interfaith Prayer Service for National Day of Prayer, hosted by the Getty House Foundation in partnership with the Mayor’s office. This event will highlight our faith leaders who bind our city together to celebrate the National Day of Prayer — a time for hope, healing, and unity.

This year, the event will be held virtually and we are proud to announce that our own faculty member Dr. Bryant-Davis has been selected to lead the Prayer Service and highlight this year’s theme of restoring, reimaging, and rebuilding Los Angeles. Dr. Bryant-Davis will lead a mindful exercise to ground us as well as a reflecting on the past year and expressing aspirations for the year ahead.

Please join us this Thursday, May 6th from 9:30 am - 10:15 am PST.
