GSEP and CSOL Honor Black History Month, Welcomes Trauma Therapist to Address Self-Interrogation at the Intersection of Christian Worldview and Social Justice

February 2, 2021 I 12:30 - 1:30 PM PST via Zoom

In joint sponsorship, the Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) Distinguished Lecture Series, and the Caruso School of Law (CSOL) Dean’s Speaker Series welcomes Dr. Anita Phillips, who will examine how cultural contexts misshape the image of God and riddle our Christian worldview with the blind spots that breed and maintain schisms in the community of Christ, including racial division.

The virtual event will take place on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, from 12:30 -1:30 pm. Please join the Pepperdine community for a time of discussion and honest self-reflection. A Q&A with the audience will follow the discussion.
