Pepperdine GSEP Introduces New Full-Time Faculty Members


Pepperdine GSEP is delighted to welcome and introduce five new full-time faculty members who are joining the online psychology program team within the Psychology Division (listed in alphabetical order):

Elizabeth Fong, Psy.D.

Clinical Professor and Associate Director of the Online MSABA Program

Dr. Fong has a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Rosemont College in PA, received her BCBA certificate via training at the University of North Texas, and obtained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara. She is the founder of the Culture and Diversity Special Interest Group of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), the author of Multicultural Alliance of Behavior Analysis Standards for Cultural Competence in Behavior Analysis, and has research interests in diversity and serving under-represented populations.

Melissa Huy, Ph.D.

Visiting Clinical Professor/Course Lead Coordinator Online MAP Program

Dr. Huy is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist and a MAP ('96) alum. She earned her Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology, and comes to us with extensive experience in assessment, therapy, research, and teaching.

Gimel Rogers, Psy.D.

Visiting Clinical Professor/Associate Director Online MAP/MACLP Programs

Dr. Rogers is a board-certified and licensed clinical and forensic psychologist, and a MAP ('12) and Psy.D. ('16) alum. She specializes in trauma and forensic work, and recently served as the Training Director at the Institute on Violence, Abuse & Trauma/Family Violence and Sexual Assault Institute (IVAT/FVSAI).

Alix Sanchez, Psy.D.

Visiting Clinical Professor/Course Lead Coordinator Online MACLP Program

Dr. Sanchez is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a MACLP ('12) alum. She earned her Psy.D. from California Southern University, and specializes in issues related to complex trauma, PTSD, and domestic violence.

Princess Walsh, Psy.D.

Visiting Clinical Professor/Course Lead Coordinator Online MACLP Program

Dr. Walsh is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed professional clinical counselor. She earned her Psy.D. in organizational psychology and development from Alliant International University, is a MACLP ('15) alum, and has been a course lead in the online programs since 2019.
