Stephanie Woo
Biography
Dr. Woo is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from UCLA. Dr. Woo completed a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in psychological assessment at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute.
She has been a full-time faculty member at Pepperdine for over 20 years and is currently the Assistant Dean of Online Psychology Programs at GSEP. Prior to this, she directed the Daytime Format MA in Clinical Psychology Program (Malibu campus) for many years. Dr. Woo's scholarly and clinical interests include schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, CBT treatment development and dissemination, and maternal mental health. She teaches masters and doctoral courses in psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders, and cognitive and behavioral assessment and intervention. Dr. Woo is co-author of a comprehensive graduate-level textbook, "Diagnosis and Treatment of Mental Disorders Across the Lifespan."
