Biography

Parsa Peykar received his master’s degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy while gaining his bachelor's from UCLA. He is the founder of Freedom in the Cage Foundation, a non-profit organization that is designed to heal, empower, and inspire inmates through art therapy, coaching, and talent development. 

Believing that every human being is a treasure, Parsa created a formula called Inter-Are Triangle (IAT) to develop one's vision, career goals, and potential. Inter-Are Triangle has been taught and applied at Los Angeles County Jail, Pepperdine University Graduate School of Psychology and Education’s Career Services, and to individuals from different career paths, such as art, business, and leadership.

Peykar is also a published author, having his latest book, The Bird from the Kingdom of Heaven, translated and published in Iran while writing articles for Medium.
