Biography

Mackenzie Conner is an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University, where she teaches graduate courses in clinical psychology.

She completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. Conner completed her predoctoral internship at The Menninger Clinic, specializing in adolescent and young adult services, and her postdoctoral fellowship in Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

In addition to her teaching, Conner is a clinical psychologist at Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach, where she conducts psychological assessments for children and adolescents. She also maintains a private practice serving adolescents and young adults in Long Beach, CA.

As a professor, Conner is committed to the formation of the developing therapist, viewing clinical work as a lifelong process of personal and professional growth. Her teaching and clinical work are informed by relational psychoanalytic and existential perspectives.
