Kristen Dial

Biography

Kristen Dial serves as the Program Director for the online Master of Arts in Psychology (MAP) and Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology (MACLP) programs and as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She provides academic and administrative leadership for the programs while teaching graduate courses in group psychotherapy, counseling techniques, career development, and clinical practicum. Dial received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and her Doctor of Psychology degree from the University of Hartford. Her work focuses on counselor education, clinical training, professional identity development, and the preparation of ethical and compassionate mental health professionals. Her clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of children with neurodevelopmental conditions and chronic medical illnesses. In addition to her program leadership, Dial serves as faculty advisor for Pepperdine's Psi Chi chapter and contributes to university initiatives supporting student success, faculty development, and academic excellence.
