Biography

Kate Williams, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Adjunct Professor in the Master’s program in Clinical Psychology at the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University. 

Williams began her clinical training working with children during her practicum year and later worked in inpatient recovery and treatment facilities during her associate licensure, providing care to individuals experiencing addiction, trauma, and complex mental health challenges. She then became licensed and founded a private practice in California.

Her clinical work focuses on trauma, mood disorders, and relational dynamics, and she provides individual and couples therapy. Williams is committed to mentoring and training future therapists and brings a strong emphasis on ethical practice, clinical judgment, and the integration of theory with real-world clinical application into the classroom.
