Biography

Abdullah is a licensed, certified ketamine-assisted psychotherapist who earned his doctorate in adult education and human resource development from Florida International University (FIU). Abdullah won the FIU “Worlds Ahead” award for his dissertation study.  

He has been a part-time adjunct faculty member at Pepperdine since 2024 and is currently the CEO/Clinical Director of Enhanced Mindful Therapy group private practice.  Before this, he was a successful banking executive for 30 years in the financial services banking industry, managing, leading, and developing financial experts in small business banking.  Abdullah is a trauma-informed clinician/director, and his professional interests include the integrated practice of psychedelic (Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy), mindfulness-based stress reduction, and somatic experience treatment.  He holds a clinical designation at the Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
