Jikesha Benton-Johnson
Biography
Jikesha Benton-Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Georgia. Dr. Benton-Johnson is credentialed with the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. She has the authority to practice Telepsychology under PSYPACT. Dr. Benton-Johnson has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Louisville, a Master of Arts degree in Community-Clinical Psychology from Norfolk State University (HBCU), and a Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from Georgia School of Professional Psychology.
She has 12 years of cumulative government service working at agencies, such as, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Dr. Benton-Johnson was involved in the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Depression Treatment clinical trial at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She specializes in trauma-informed care, holistic psychotherapy, race-based trauma, the mental health recovery model, and psychotherapy for women. Dr. Benton-Johnson has extensive experience in conducting psychological assessment and testing.
