Biography

Edmundo Yulo is a licensed marriage and family therapist currently working as an intake therapist at Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Services. He has been a practicing psychotherapist since 2013 and has had experience working within an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility and completed his training at the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Edmundo earned his master's in clinical psychology at Antioch University, Los Angeles, with a focus on LGBT affirmative therapy. He completed his bachelor's in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, with minors in LGBT studies and cognitive science.

His specialties include providing affirmative therapy to LGBT-identified individuals, assessing and diagnosing, and DMH policies and procedures. He is DMH certified; trained in CORS, Seeking Safety, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy; and recognized as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Clinical Champion by the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
