Biography

Dr. Dity Brunn, a clinical psychologist with diverse interests, holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University as well as a masters in marriage, family, and child counseling (MFCC) from the University of Southern California. She primarily focuses on couples' and relationship issues, interpersonal influences, and the effects of the brain's physiology on human behavior and psychopathology. Dr. Brunn is a licensed psychologist in California and New York, with a private practice in Beverly Hills. Additionally, she is bilingual and able to conduct therapy in Hebrew. While researching the relationship between fear of intimacy and marital dissatisfaction, she modified and extended the uses of an existing instrument to measure intimacy--Fear of Intimacy Scale-Revised (Brunn, 2000). Dr. Brunn completed two years of didactics at the Greenwich Institute for Psychoanalysis.
