Devin Vodicka

Biography

Vodicka is special projects coordinator for Jefferson Elementary in the Carlsbad Unified School District. He also serves as bilingual director, is on district and site bilingual committees, and directs a K-12 language assessment center. He has taught fourth grade English immersion and fourth and first grade bilingual classes. Vodicka is a proponent of cultural inclusivity, early literacy interventions, and class-size reduction. He is the recipient of college honors and the Paul Douglas Award for Future Teachers (1992).
