GSEP Malibu campus exterior

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of GSEP student Tess Fisher. A Mill Valley native, Tess started at GSEP in the Fall of 2024. She was pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, and was expected to graduate in the Spring of 2027.

Remembering Tess and her time at Pepperdine, one of her professors Pamela Pettit shared, “Tess had a lovely presence, filled with warmth and kindness. She expressed to me how excited she was to be a part of the Pepperdine community. I was touched by her authenticity and motivation. Tess will be very much missed.”

For those who wish to send condolences to Tess’s family, please send cards, notes, or letters to: Vice President for Student Affairs, TCC 210, Mail Code 4472. The Student Affairs office will forward all correspondence to Tess’s family.

We offer our deepest condolences to Tess’s family, friends, and loved ones and keep them in our hearts during this time of grief. Please join us in lifting up Tess’s family in prayer and remembering Tess as a beloved member of our Pepperdine community.
