GSEP Celebrates Mental Health Awareness Month

This month, we are proud to recognize and honor Mental Health Awareness Month and celebrate behavioral health heroes. We have all faced unprecedented challenges this past year and our world needs compassion right now, more than ever.

GSEP is committed to raising awareness and preparing our students, counselors, therapists, educators, psychologists who can promote the mission of our university - to lives of purpose, service, and leadership. We celebrate and are proud of thousands of GSEP students and alumni who have stepped forward as agents of peace to promote mental health wellness, awareness and justice, and healing during these challenging times. We celebrate and raise awareness to help heal our communities and we hope to take this opportunity to check in on ourselves.

We hope you will be inspired by this reflective video message from our Associate Dean of Psychology, Dr. Robert DeMayo, as we raise awareness and support each other through compassion, empathy, and a number of resources available.

Affected by approximately 1 in 5 Americans, let's support one another and raise awareness and destigmatize mental health - Check on your friends. Check on your family. Check on yourself.
