Biography

Heather is a licensed marriage and family therapist with active licenses in seven states, and over a decade of experience operating in both face-to-face and virtual environments. An active-duty military spouse for more than 16 years, she has lived in numerous locations across the country and abroad but currently calls Austin, TX home. Heather has a wide variety of clinical experience that includes inpatient and PHP levels of care, individual, family and group therapy for foster care and at-risk youth, and group private practice where she focused on treating depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Heather currently provides individual, couple, and family therapy through Bloom Health Centers, and is committed to providing comprehensive, integrated, and in-network mental health outpatient care. Heather completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine in 2004, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior with minors in Education and Political Science. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology degree from Pepperdine University in 2006.
