Biography

Dr. Gabriella Miramontes is a passionate human capacity developer, leadership advocate, and project management professional; bringing non-profit experience in strategy, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, portfolio management to ECE-K12, and higher education. She has over 20 years of experience working in the non-profit, education consulting arena and has demonstrated success in driving high-stakes project execution, building collaborative partnerships and leadership advisement, assessment management, and training development.

She has been affiliated with Pepperdine for over 20 years, is an alum of both GBS ('01) and GSEP ('02, '08), and has been an adjunct professor since 2015; transition to full-time faculty in 2020. Her areas of interest are in training and development, assessment, higher education, mentoring, leadership, and issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion and the impact on women of color. She currently teaches Leadership, Change Management, Research, DE&I, and Comprehensive Exams; is a founding member and Director of the Excellence and Innovation Project, as well as the Director of the Center for Global Partnerships and Learning.
