As the program administrator for the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology program, I interact with students on a daily basis, providing them with general information or assisting with student services. I also interact with prospective applicants, attending to their inquiries and questions.

All students enrolled in the program have a master's degree in psychology or a closely related field. In addition, the majority of our students have previous clinical experience.

Pepperdine's Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology program has been APA-accredited since 1990. Each year our psychology doctoral students are highly successful in obtaining APA-accredited pre-doctoral internships, and last year's cohort of students achieved a 100 percent acceptance rate.

Each fall, a cohort of 26 students enrolls in the program. Within each cohort, students are very supportive of one another. Class sizes are small and students have many opportunities to interact with faculty who are dedicated to teaching, clinical work, and research. Our students are exposed to different theoretical orientations and are engaged in a variety of clinical training experiences.

I have been with Pepperdine University for more than 30 years, primarily working in the psychology division. I earned my Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine and have served as the program administrator for the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology program since it began in 1986.

I look forward to assisting you.

Many programs offer rolling admission, and students can enter in the fall, spring, and summer sessions.
