Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
  • The Miller Analogies test (MAT) is administered through a network of Controlled Testing Centers (CTCs) licensed by The Psychological Corporation
  • The MAT is a high-level mental ability test requiring the solution of problems stated as analogies. The MAT includes 120 analogies and can be completed in 60 minutes.

  • If you missed a test date, please contact your Pepperdine program administrator.
  • Reservations are required to take the MAT at Pepperdine's test center. Effective 9/11/2007, a $60 testing fee, payable by check or money order, is required at the time of the test session. Please call our Testing Line at (310) 568-5723 to reserve your space.

Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
  • The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is administered by the Educational Testing Service.
  • The registration form for the GRE can be found within the GRE Bulletin.
  • You may register ONLINE for the GRE at their web site or you may call them at (800) 537-3160 or (609) 771-7670.
  • The registration fee is $140.00.
  • The GRE is offered all year via Computer Based Testing (CBT) at 51 locations throughout California. Please refer to the GRE bulletin or their website for details.
  • All GSEP applicants should use Institutional Code: R4326
California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)

TOEFL Test Information
International applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit a minimum score of 550 on the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL). The computer-based TOEFL test should have a minimum score of 220. Information concerning the availability of this test in foreign countries can be obtained by contacting TOEFL, Educational Testing Services, Princeton, NJ 08540, USA or online at www.toefl.org.

Many programs offer rolling admission, and students can enter in the fall, spring, and summer sessions.
