Biography

Jaz is a registered associate marriage and family therapist (AMFT) and a doctoral candidate in Pepperdine’s Doctor of Psychology program. She received her bachelor’s degree in food science and nutrition from North Carolina State University and her master’s degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Pepperdine University. Jaz holds leadership positions within the Los Angeles County Psychological Association as well as the California Psychological Association for Graduate Students. Her research interests lie at the intersection of mental health and nutritional health, and she has a passion for working with individuals who have complicated histories of trauma.
