Biography

Andrew Teton is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been licensed to practice in the state of California since 2000. Teton has completed the two year Hakomi mindful somatic psychotherapy training. Teton also completed 5 years of study with Dr. Dan Siegel Mindsight Institute’s Interpersonal Neurobiology.

Teton worked for 18 years at CALM, Santa Barbara’s primary agency for working with individuals with trauma histories. Teton has been a continuing education instructor for Gerry Grossman Seminars since 2000. Teton has been adjunct faculty at both Antioch University Santa Barbara and Pacifica Graduate Institute since 2005. Teton was awarded Antioch’s Excellence in Teaching Award in 2017. Teton has served on his local CAMFT Board of Directors and received CAMFT Statewide Achievement in Leadership Award.
