Dr. Dennis Lowe has been a professor of psychology at Pepperdine for over 30 years. His teaching areas include the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders as well as couple and family therapy. His specialties include couple relationships and the intersection of mental health and family life. Of particular interest are projects that promote recovery for those with mental health conditions and their family members. Lowe was the founding director of Pepperdine's Center for the Family and currently holds the M. Norvel and Helen Young Endowed Chair in Family Life.
