Edward P. Shafranske, Ph.D.

Dr. Shafranske is a psychologist/psychoanalyst with experience in private practice, community mental health, and university/school settings. His primary interests are clinical and applied psychoanalysis, clinical supervision, and the psychology of religion. He is a fellow of APA, member of the American and International Psychoanalytic Associations, past president of APA Division 36, and past chair of the CPA Division of Education and Training. He served as editor of Religion and the Clinical Practice of Psychology, and the forthcoming Spiritually-Oriented Psychotherapy, and is co-author of The Practice of Clinical Supervision: A Competency-based Approach. In 1997, he was named Luckman Distinguished Teaching Fellow.
