Mission

Career Services Office at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology is committed to:

  • Providing students and alumni with effective tools and strategies for actualizing their career aspirations and becoming future leaders of change
  • Building collaborative relationships across GSEP departments in order to foster a distinct educational experience and to best support student success
  • Establishing and cultivating enduring employer partnerships to connect our quality GSEP candidates with opportunities for making a positive impact

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon graduating from GSEP, students will be able to:

  • have the self-knowledge to identify their interests, work values, and strengths
  • learn about compatible career options and the needs of the community in which they are serving

GSEP has an active Diversity Council, comprised of faculty, staff, and students, whose aim is to promote discourse and foster multicultural proficiency. The Council developed a biannual speaker series to provide a forum for representatives of varied backgrounds and views to speak on subjects affecting the fields of education and mental health.
