PSY 627 Psychopharmacology (2)
This course uses a bio psychosocial model to examine the history and use of psychopharmacology for the treatment of mental disorders and includes the study of neurobiology and mechanisms of action of the major psychotropic drugs. The role of gender, culture, age, and other variables on the indications and use of medications is examined.
Note: This course is required for students who entered or transferred to the MACLP program after 1/1/01.
Prerequisites: PSY 656(Evening Format only).
