ED 774 A, B Foundations of Inquiry (1, 2)
This course is the first of a three-part sequence in which students identify and explore a real-world project or issue within a school district and begin planning strategies to resolve the issue. Each student works under the guidance of a faculty member and a site-based project advisor. Students establish a relationship with the field project advisor and develop a learning contract to complete the project while studying to become an effective team member. Students gain an understanding of the guiding principals of action research, critical thinking, and problem solving in the context of the identified project.
