Inspiration for Change

Pepperdine's heritage is rich in community service. It begins with George Pepperdine's founding vision for a leading University committed to the highest standards of academic excellence and Christian values, where students are strengthened for lives of purpose, service, and leadership.

In this spirit, the Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) continually provides innovative programs and opportunities which meet student and community needs for scholar-practitioners, such as:

• Founding the Center for the Family
• Partnering with outreach programs including the Union Rescue Mission
• Creating the first one-year Master of Arts in Education with Teaching Credential Program, and
• Pioneering today's cutting-edge online master's and doctoral programs.

GSEP embraces students and faculty from diverse backgrounds and perspectives who come together in person and online, share a common mission both with each other and the school, and continue to do so as active professional alumni.
