Two Education Faculty Members Selected to Continue to Phase II of Waves of Innovation

Waves of Innovation is an initiative created by Pepperdine University to inspire, engage, and motivate faculty, staff, and students to share their ideas and help shape the future of the school. The first phase required applicants to outline their ideas.

Mark Chen and June Schmeider-Ramirez, PhD, were two of the eight finalists selected to move forward to Phase II. Each of the finalists will receive one-time planning grants of up to $5,000 to assist in preparing a complete proposal for consideration. Proposals will be presented at the Waves of Innovation Talk, or “WIT” event, for the Pepperdine community, in Smothers Theatre on Wednesday, January 15, 2014.
