GSEP Alumnus Rogelio Serrano, PsyD,Rogelio Serrano (PsyD ’11), Doctor of Clinical Psychology alumnus, began a private practice in Costa Mesa, Calif. in the fall of 2012.  His specialty is Latino families with an emphasis on Latino men and couples therapy.

Serrano’s services, offered in both English and Spanish, include individual, family, and couples therapy, anger management classes, clinical supervision, and professional consultation workshops. Prior to beginning his own practice, Serrano provided clinical services for more than 10 years in schools, hospitals, community centers, nonprofit agencies, and correctional facilities.

“My training and education are augmented by my cultural background and experiences of daily life,” said Serrano. “I understand that extensive theoretical training is an essential component of therapy while also maintaining a real life approach to the problems experienced by everyday people.”

Serrano often makes professional presentations at local universities such as the University of California, Irvine and Pepperdine University.
