Take a guided photo tour of the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University.

On May 26, Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) Professor Lani Frazier, along with Social Entrepreneurship and Change Students Dance Aoki, Nikki Duplessis, Calleen Egan, and Kapua Kauhane, presented at the Hawaii International Conference on Business. The group of changemakers discussed the topic entitled, "Social entrepreneurs: The role of leadership and power of storytelling in changemaking.”
This presentation introduced examples of social entrepreneurs and discussed challenges they face and various leadership and business practices they employ to address them. They focused on social entrepreneurs like Jeff Skoll and his adaptation of the power of storytelling through visual media to inspire conversation and leadership in driving awareness for social change worldwide.
Dr. Rhonda Brinkley-Kennedy (GSEP '96) is the director of the GSEP Urban Initiative, an umbrella program preparing education and mental health professionals to work effectively in underserved urban communities.
