Dr. Pardeep Krystal Kullar Named Dean of Summer Programs at Amherst College

PardeepPardeep Krystal Kullar, Ed.D, alumna of the Organizational Leadership (EDOL) program at the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP), has been selected to serve as Dean of Summer Programs at Amherst College in Massachusetts. She joins Amherst College from North-West College where she served as the Interim Dean of Education and chair of the national certification programs for the college.

Kullar’s extensive experience in education (including 7 years of instructional experience) will prove to be valuable to Amherst College’s University Prep program this summer. She has served as an instructor in K-12 and higher education, executive director and director of education, program chair and board member, and president and CEO of a successful nonprofit organization. She has operated in a variety of leadership capacities, including advisory roles through various consulting assignments in educational management, business development, human resources, and company culture. She has been recognized by leading organizations for her contribution to educational research, policy, development, and strategy. Her commitment to leadership is visible through her on-going affiliation with professional agencies in the field.

In her new position, Kullar is building relationships with members of the executive leadership team at Amherst College to oversee curriculum management, program delivery, and faculty performance in which the University Prep program will be memorable for all.

 


The Culture and Trauma Research Lab conducts research on the cultural context of traumas such as partner abuse, human trafficking, genocide, and racism, and the role of spirituality in the recovery process.
