Take a guided photo tour of the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University.

Yeshiva Davis and Kongit Farrell, alumna of the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP), have teamed up to form a new agency that specializes in monitored visits and associated services for families that are faced with child custody, divorce, and other family separation matters.
Graduates of the masters of arts in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy, Davis and Farrell realized the need for agency after a private therapy client was sabotaged by a monitor during a visit with his son. In collaborating on this particular case, both discovered the need for monitors in possessing therapeutic/psychological backgrounds. Davis and Farrell help their clients enjoy safe visits with their children, as well as manage their transitions through issues from family separation.
Davis and Farrell entitled their agency, K & S Therapeutic Services, after their first names, Kongit and Shiva. In support for the long-term health of families, K & S Therapeutic Services offers a variety of therapeutic and court-related services including: supervised visitation and exchange, court reports, conflict mediation and parenting coordination. This is in addition to K & S Therapeutic Services’ administration of parenting classes, as well as, adult, child, and family counseling.
“GSEP provided the perfect blend of practical and academic training,” said Davis. “This gave me the confidence to start an entrepreneurial venture and dedicate my work to enriching the lives of others.”
Davis will also be presenting "You Wanna Know What?!" Making Difficult Conversations with Children Easier" for adults on February 2 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at 5350 Machado Road, Culver City, California, 90230. The seminar will help parents, teachers, relatives, and friends answer kids’ tough questions about drugs, sexuality, school violence, religion, and more.
