Pepperdine Scholarships

The Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) offers several scholarships for students from endowed, non-endowed, and University funds.

Awards are made based on a variety of criteria, including academic merit, financial need, and for specific academic programs, and the promotion of cultural diversity at the school. Recipients typically receive between $350 to $1,000 each term. The amount of the awards depends upon the amount of scholarship funding available for the year and the number of recipients.

Scholarships are generally awarded at the start of the academic year. Students must be enrolled in full-time status each term in order to be eligible for scholarships (6 units each term or enrollment in dissertation, with the exception of students enrolled in the Teaching Credential program only, which is 12 units for full-time status). Scholarships are not automatically renewed each year.

With some scholarships, students are nominated by academic program committees, and there is no formal application. Newly admitted students are considered for scholarships as part of the application review process. However, applications are required in other cases.
