- “Supervision of supervision” training during internship
- Formal coursework in supervision of psychology trainees taken from an accredited educational institution
- Workshops in supervision of psychology trainees
- Supervision training received as part of grand rounds
- Other experiences which provide direction and education in the principles of supervision of psychology trainees.
* Note 2: For Psychologists, taking a Law and Ethics CE course each renewal cycle is one of several options for how to fulfill this requirement. The requirement may be met each renewal cycle by any of these means:
- Formal coursework in laws and ethics taken from an accredited educational institution;
- Approved continuing education course in laws and ethics;
- Workshops in laws and ethics;
- Other experiences which provide direction and education in laws and ethics including, but not limited to, grand rounds or professional association presentation.

Psychologists
Pepperdine University is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to offer continuing education for psychologists. Pepperdine maintains responsibility for the program. The California Board of Psychology approved changes to the MCE Regulations, which allow for courses by APA Approved Sponsors of continuing education to be automatically accepted without review. This allows Pepperdine Professional Development courses to be automatically accepted or MCEP credit in California without review. You will not see MCEP approval numbers or submitted notices for each workshop. Psychologists are now obligated to report their attendance to our classes to the MCEP Accrediting Agency using the appropriate form and paying the required fee. We will have forms and information available at each workshop. Additional information can be found on the Board of Psychology web site: http://www.psychboard.ca.gov/ in the "What's New" Section, or by calling (916) 263-2699.
