Biography

Barbara Ingram, PhD, a licensed psychologist, is a full, tenured Professor in the Psychology Division of GSEP. She received her bachelor's degree from Cornell University and her PhD from USC. Her specialization is clinical case formulation skills: She is the author of Clinical Case Formulations: Matching the Integrative Treatment Plan to the Client, as well as the chapter on “Case Formulation and Treatment Planning” in the APA Handbook of Clinical Psychology. She is a member of the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration (SEPI) and a founding member of the Unified Psychotherapy Movement—clinicians, researchers, and theoreticians who seek to enhance practitioners’ capacity to draw from the diversity of approaches, processes, techniques, and research findings. She was honored as a recipient of the Howard A. White Award for Teaching Excellence.
